Hazel is a gentle girl with a cooperative disposition. She loves runs, walks and most of all bouncing along in the creeks with her stick; she’s a nature girl!
Hazel is gentle and mindful on the leash and would love an obedience class. What ever she is taught she grasps quickly. She even has learned to wake up a teenager in the morning upon direction. She is extremely well mannered and just loves cuddles and has been found sleeping on beds with her stuffy while her foster parents were out. One soft spoken word and she jumps right off and goes to her own bed.
Along with all the wonderful attributes she does come with her own dog house full of fears and anxieties. She has moved along well in her foster home but will require that special home that will allow Hazel a long time to settle in. She is unsure of strangers and fearful of men. Occasionally Hazel feels most safe and secure under a bed or out of sight, but most times now she prefers to be with her foster family giving love and playing fetch. Wait till you see her dog smile…adorable! Hazel is ready for her furever home.
My ideal home will enroll in the training classes ARF offers right away, so we can start bonding and building our relationship on the right paw.
