Hi, my name is Mesha and my foster mom says I’m a sweetheart (I’m guessing that’s a good thing!). One of my favourite things to do is cuddle with my people. Although I am about 60 pounds, I like to pretend I’m small and get right up onto our lap to keep you warm and get some pets in exchange. Oh, and belly rubs, I LOVE belly rubs. My foster sister and I play real well together, and she’s teaching me that most of the dogs I meet are friendly and fun too! I’ve only had a little time to check out mini-humans but so far I like them just fine. While I’m a little shy at first, it only takes a little time and love to get me out of my shell.
They tell me I am about 2 years old, but I’m still young at heart and love to run, play and go for walks, in between naps of course. I’m catching on really quickly to all the stuff my foster parents are teaching me, like “come”, “sit”, and “lay down”. Especially when they trade me for treats! We’ve been working on what they call “loose leash walking” and “fetch” too. I’m getting better but I’ll need more practice before I’m perfect. At night time, I love curling up in my “house” with my peanut butter goodnight snack.
If you’re looking to skip the house training, crate training, chewing (etc) stages, and skip straight to cuteness
and a partner for adventure, look no further as I’m your girl!
My ideal home will enroll in the training classes ARF offers right away, so we can start bonding and building our relationship on the right paw.
