This is Thumper! He is a fan-favourite at Pad4Paws and has learned and grown so much in the last little while. Thumper is a dog who thrives on routine and consistency. He is an avid learner, thoroughly enjoys affection and is eager to sample any snacks his human friends are willing to share. He can sometimes be a little nervous of new situations and is looking for a forever home who’s willing to help him work through separation anxiety. His anxiety lessens when he has structure, routine and someone he can rely on to be there for him. Thumper does well in play groups with most other dogs but can struggle with other males sometimes, we’d love to see him in a home with a confident female companion who loves to play. Thumper has done well meeting all the humans he’s encountered and generally greets everyone with the exuberance of the teenager that he is. While he’d do well in a home with kids of any age, his size and energy level might be better suited to bigger kids, 10+.
