Bex is a sweet, easygoing little lady estimated to be between 8–10 years old and weighing approximately 25 pounds. More than anything in the world, Bex loves affection. If there are pets available, she would very happily accept them all day long! She is incredibly loving and seems happiest simply being close to her people.

In the home, Bex is a pretty easy companion. She is fully housetrained, happily sleeps in her crate at night, and will sometimes even put herself to bed when she decides it’s time. She enjoys her daily walks and walks very nicely on leash. Once she has had her walks and a little time with her people, she is perfectly content to settle in for a good nap, either near you or curled up close to the resident dog.

Bex has done very well living with another dog and seems to find comfort and security in having a canine companion around. She is less comfortable being left home completely on her own, so she may be happiest in a home with another compatible dog, or with a family where she won’t regularly be alone for long stretches. As she continues to settle in and build confidence, this is something that can be worked on gradually and patiently.

While Bex is generally a very chill girl at home, she does have a vocal side! She likes to let you know when something catches her attention and can bark at other dogs while out on leash. She can become extremely interested in squirrels, rabbits, and other small animals, so keeping her securely leashed while out and about will be important. Her future family should be comfortable continuing to work with her on calm greetings, leash manners, and managing that enthusiastic instinct to chase.

Overall, Bex is a loving, low-key little dog who doesn’t ask for much: some nice walks, a cozy place to sleep, companionship, and as many pets as you’re willing to give her. She has so much affection to offer and would love a home where she can feel safe, included, and very, very loved.
