Our Executive Director spent the afternoon with the Founder and first volunteers of ARF from back in 1995.
Our Founder, Laurie Flavin, initiated her mission in her garage, personally paying to rescue dogs out of the pound that were going to be euthanized. Quickly she assembled an amazing team!🐶🐾
Karen Middleton, Sue Sargent, Angela Machado, Rebecca Kelly, and Theresa Plenert-Swain each played a vital role, with Theresa continuing her dedication to this day.🌟
It was a happy nostalgia day full of tears and reminiscing.💞
