2978F: Marsha

Please note: We cannot guarantee the size or breed of our animals.

🐾 CATS: Marsha has done well with other cats while in her foster home.

🐾 DOGS: Marsha has done well with calm, cat-appropriate dogs given a proper, gradual introduction.

🐾 KIDS: Marsha would likely do best with older children (10+) or with children with cat knowledge and experience.

Marsha was a wonderful mama cat and now she is “retired” and looking for her forever home. She is friendly and chooses to be affectionate and purr with her humans a few times a day.She is very nice to handle and she is also able to spend several quiet hours relaxing on the most comfy furniture or looking out the window with the best view. Although it took only hours to become very comfortable in her foster home, she is initially shy with new people and it does take her a few days to settle into a new environment. Marsha was immediately great with the calm, cat-appropriate dogs in her foster home. She took a bit longer to share space with some very shy foster cats, but now they adore her and she has taken on some new foster kittens, who also appreciate her.  She will play tag back and forth with them and is finally discovering toys. She would do best in a home that can provide some awesome cat trees / scratching pads as she loves to leap and scratch. We don’t know if she has ever lived without other animals so she might also prefer to live in a home with at least another dog or cat.  She also likes to use her beautiful expressive eyes to let you know what she thinks.   She would also be pretty happy to be adopted with any of the kittens/ cats she is now helping to foster.  Marsha is a really special lady and we cannot wait for her to find her forever family! (because then it might be safe to leave bagels on the counter again.)
