Though Lavender doesn’t need much personal space, she does do well when left alone. She’s not a fan of crates, but she will willingly use her kennel for eating and sometimes safe solitude. She does very well in a dog proof room when left alone. Lavender still needs time and encouragement when encountering new things, but has been very happy to meet many humans and make lots of friends. She’s currently still nervous of meeting other dogs on leash and is working on feeling better about this, along with learning canine social skills and how to communicate with other dogs. She’s also making progress with seeing all the exciting small critters out and about. She is also making fabulous progress with her general manners and LOVES to play fetch, puzzles and games. Lavender is a very food motivated pooch, so you’ll have no problems teaching her any new tricks. At this time, she would be best suited for a home with older kids (12+).
My ideal home will be excited to enroll us in the discounted training classes ARF offers, so we can start bonding and building our relationship on the right paw.
