Hi, I’m Poppy! Do you like fetch? Because I would sure like a forever home that wants to play a lot of fetch!
Right now, I’m living with my foster parents and their two dogs. My favorite activities are playing with my foster sisters, making new friends, going for walks, chewing things, and throwing my balls at my foster parents in hopes of a game of fetch. I’m very friendly, and love meeting new people and dogs. Sometimes I get too excited, and want to give people big face kisses, but my foster parents are teaching me that I get even more attention when I sit first.
My foster mom says I’m a very busy puppy, and am looking for a home that understands both my physical and mental needs. I’m a very clever girl, and sometimes make my own entertainment when I don’t have enough to do. I would definitely benefit from having a job, and would be a great candidate for dog sports or being a long-distance running partner when I’m old enough. I would do well in a home with another friendly and playful dog as well. While I really like small humans, I’m better suited to a family with older kids only, given my enthusiasm for showing my love. I am house and crate trained and sleep quietly through the night.
