Hi, I’m Moose! My foster mom was told I was the most timid of my litter mates, but she thinks I must be the smartest. She tells me all day how smart and curious I am, and you know what… I think she’s right! Since I got to this house there has been tons to be curious about! I got to meet cats! They’re weird. One rubs on me and one hisses at me and one follows me everywhere I go. Mom says I’m really good because I don’t pester them at all in fact most of our interactions happen when the cat chooses it. That’s because I’m so busy testing each and every dog toy in this house. Dog toys are so fun. There is also a small dog in this house and I like him a lot and we get along but man oh man do I love every human I meet. I LOVE them. I follow then everywhere. I met a couple on the street on my first walk and they all wanted to touch my ears. I just let them and gave them kisses and kept on my merry way. I walk pretty good on a leash for never having done it before. My foster mom was really impressed.

She thinks I would fit into just about any home but I haven’t experienced small kids yet… Just something called TEEN-A-GERS. They’re fun they scoop me up for kisses and I like that. I do have some baby teeth and man they ache and I just have to learn not to use hands. I don’t bite hard but I kinda want to work my back teeth a bit so mom just gives me a toy. I think when I’m ready for a bone I’ll be down for a good long chew.

I think I will learn tricks really fast but for right now when I see a treat I want to eat it and eat it now. I had siblings and you know how it goes with older brothers. They eat lots of food and I have to eat fast to make sure I even get some. My foster mom feeds me in my kennel so that I can relax she says but also so I get used to the kennel being fun. Because I think it’s awfully boring at this point. But hey if my food is in there then it just got a lot more interesting.

I really want a home where I get to be part of the family and I get to go on walks and hikes and go wherever you go. I’m going to be an amazing dog for someone. I really am. Is it you?

My ideal home will be excited to enroll us in the discounted training classes ARF offers, so we can start bonding and building our relationship on the right paw.
