Walk n’ Wag is ARF’s signature community fundraising event, bringing together animal lovers, families, sponsors, volunteers, and their dogs for a fun-filled day celebrating the bond between people and pets.

Enjoy a scenic 2.5 km community walk through River Park, followed by an afternoon of entertainment, Pet Photos in the Park, interactive activities, sponsor experiences, games, contests, shopping, and exciting raffle prizes—including a WestJet roundtrip flight for two, three 1-Year Supplies of IAMS Dog or Cat Food, and many more prizes.

More than just a day out with your dog, Walk n’ Wag is a vital fundraiser supporting ARF’s mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and find loving homes for dogs and cats across Alberta. Every registration, donation, sponsorship, and purchase helps provide animals with medical care, shelter, and a second chance.

Whether you’re walking, shopping, playing, or cheering on the contestants, you’ll be making a difference for animals in need.
