Our 14-year-old beloved rescue dog passed away last August. We had originally thought that we would wait until the spring to adopt another dog but when we saw Ivy, now Josie, on the ARF website later that month, we could not resist meeting her and adopting her.
Her foster parents had described her as ‘full of boundless energy and joy’ – a very accurate description of her. Josie makes us smile when she gives us her big toothy grin. She loves her squeaky toys, chasing a ball, running and playing in the snow. She makes friends with everybody and all the doggies that she meets.
Josie brings us joy and happiness on a daily basis and is a wonderful addition to our home. We love her to bits!
Thank you, ARF, for all the hard work you do. We sure appreciate it.

Beautiful story. Josie is a very fortunate dog.
