Rambunctious Boomer

I adopted Boomer (originally Hiway) on Feb 15, 2009. Boomer was a rambunctious deaf Australian cattle dog/chow mix, with many allergies. I am so happy that I had the opportunity to be his ‘dog mom’. In the 13 yrs that he was part of my pack, Boomer helped undo the stigma of having a ‘deaf dog’. He knew 120 ASL signs, helped run cattle, and could beat anyone to the couch! He lived a long life, even with the challenges of severe allergies, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Boomer taught me so much more than I ever taught him. Boomer recently went to the rainbow bridge on March 16, 2022.

Thank you ARF for the opportunity to love this awesome floofer.
