ARF AGM
The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Elections for the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) of Alberta.
When: Thursday, December 5, 2024
Time: 7:00 pm (doors open at 6:30 pm for registration)
Where: ARF’s Pad for Paws 3548 – 27 Street NE (mapping apps may refer to it as Bay 1, 3536 27 Street NE)
The 2024 AGM allows ARF members to elect 9 Directors. Voting at the AGM will be in person by ballot issued at the meeting or by proxy ballot completed as outlined below. Only members holding a valid membership as of November 7, 2024 are entitled to vote.
ARF memberships will be confirmed by Government Issue photo identification in line with current election practices.
Director Candidates must submit Nomination Forms to the attention of the Board of Directors at the addresses below by midnight November 20, 2024. Nomination forms require the signatures of two current ARF members.
Director candidate information from the nomination forms will be posted on the ARF website for member review after November 20, 2024.
A Proxy Form will be available on the website after November 21, 2024 for those unable to attend in person. Proxy forms must be completed and signed by the member and accompanied by a photocopy of Government Issue photo identification of the member. You can either email or mail the proxy to ARF at the addresses below or have it delivered by your proxy holder to the meeting. The photocopy will be shredded after review if received by mail or returned to the proxy holder if provided at the meeting.
